The City of Vallejo is hosting its third redistricting public hearing on Tuesday, January 11 at 8 p.m. in its City Council Chambers (555 Santa Clara Street). Members of the public can attend in-person or participate remotely via Zoom: https://ZoomRegular.CityofVallejo.net

At this hearing, the City Council will discuss the submitted draft maps, and identify the maps it will focus on and ultimately aim to choose at its last public hearing in February. The draft maps are available for review online at MapVallejo.org/draft-maps, and you can share your feedback on the draft maps by participating in the hearing or sending comments to mapvallejo@cityofvallejo.net.

Every 10 years, local governments use new data from the Census to redraw their district lines to reflect how local populations have changed. The City of Vallejo is asking for your help to plan, draw and redivide new City districts. Submit your map of your community, neighborhood or the entire City today, provide feedback on the draft maps and participate in the City’s upcoming public hearings!

The finalized maps shaped by the community will impact how Vallejo’s City Council Members are elected for the next 10 years.
